Right at Home is a national franchise organization offering non-medical in-home care and assistance to seniors and other adults to help them live independently in their own home. Established in 1995, Right at Home provides trained, insured and bonded caregivers for a variety of caregiving needs. Whether it's for extra assistance after a stay in the hospital, an aging parent who needs extra help or companionship to remain in their home, or as respite for the husband or wife who cares for an ailing spouse.

The Medina-Summit County Right at Home offices are owned and operated by Carol and Ed Elkins. Their primary area of coverage is Medina and Summit County, Ohio.

Our careproviders are bonded and insured. A thorough background check is made on each employee, which includes criminal records, personal and professional references and initial new hire and random drug testing. Each caregiver is tested for competency and must possess the necessary skills to provide the services we offer. This includes being compassionate and respectful.

Medina’s Right at Home In-Home Care and Assistance has an agreement with Philips LifeLine to provide emergency response equipment to their clients. Each unit comes with a personal transmitter that can be comfortably worn around the neck, on a belt clip or wrist and a CarePartner console unit connected to their telephone line. With the press of a button, help can be summoned at any time using either unit.

For those individuals that live in a large, multi-level home, an optional Voice Extension unit can be installed to provide peace of mind knowing your call will be heard.   The new Cordless Phone / Communicator can also be equipped with a Voice Extension and extra handsets.  The LifeLine cordless phone can even operate when there is a power outage.  Give us a call for more information.
